White Egg Layers

We love the white layer varieties, there are many beautiful and rare breeds to choose from. Leghorns have been our best white egg laying hens. (By the way, a rooster is not needed for a hen to lay eggs!)  All breeds listed below do well in hot weather, make sure they still have some shade and fresh water at all times! We hope this helps you select the right breed that you'll enjoy in your own back yard!
