“Just wanted to send you a picture of our ‘Daisy Plan’ coop. We went with the barn look and did a variation on the enclosed chicken run to fit our yard. Today was the first day our 8 hens (7-8 weeks old) got a chance to run around outside.
This layout was a favorite of both my wife (for its looks) and mine (for its ease of cleaning). One other item we did to the coop that is different from the plans is that it is double walled with insulation for the cold winters. I am now working on a weather vane to put on the top as a surprise for my wife. Thanks for making these plans available!”

“Thank you for your help with the roof! We have just finished our coop and are happy about how it turned out! We are planning to move chickens in on Friday or Saturday; whenever the kids are finished playing in the coop.”

Bella 4×4 plan with run
“What an awesome experience it was to build this chicken coop! I really enjoyed it (of course, I love to build things) and the plans were great! My chickens are enjoying it also. Thanks for all your help, and thanks for the wonderful plans!”
Cindy M. Fairview, WY
“My husband completed our coop this weekend from the Bella plans. It’s just the two of us and this will be a great size for us. I like that it will be easier to clean since its raised off the ground and the back door opens. We have never built anything like this before and wanted it to match the design of our other buildings. We are very happy with the outcome and plan on building the run over the next couple of weekends. I am excited to get my first hens!! Thanks for everything (we emailed with questions and they were answered quickly). Great plans…Great experience!”

“We love the Daisy coop! The design is efficient, particularly the open back for cleaning and the raised area below for inclement weather. I love the two roosting boxes! Since the photo was taken we added the “EGGS” sign on the egg box. When it was new my husband threatened to move into it.”

“I am brand new to chickens and I have 7 beautiful girls now and they all seem to love their new home. It is so fun learning about them and watching them grow! I should have some eggs some time in September or so. Thank you so much, your plans were easy to follow and make adjustments as I needed! I love reading your site and seeing all that you have to share!”

Daisy Coop 8×4
“We did build the Daisy with a slight custom look. I have always loved Salt Box homes and this was our chance to build one. We used antique doors, old barn wood, free plywood, free metal roofing, two $20 windows, and 2×4’s! The coop is precious! I painted it Ginger Spice and plan on painting trim cream soon. My husband put a tree limb on the roosting boxes and it looks so rustic. I loved your first coop! I’ll check your website for a picture of your new one! Thanks for emailing me back, I’m sure I’ll have more questions about chickens.”

“We Love this chicken coop! The directions for building the coop were easy to follow and very helpful. It was kind of like having a builder right there guiding our every step! We are so happy with how it turned out. Thanks so much Clean Coops.”

“The neighborhood enjoyed watching me put our coop together…they anticipated each new phase. I decided to angle the nest boxes down and put little sliding doors on the face of them so my daughter could reach the eggs without lifting the lid. I really appreciated the color coded images in the plans. It made it real easy to see how to put everything together!”

“Dear CleanCoops.com, I have completed the coop and am very happy with it. I could not have done it with out your plans. Here is a picture of the chicken coop I made. I did not use a 2X2 window but your plans were easy to adjust to the window I found, that was affordable. Thank you so much for giving me everything you promised, I love my new coop!
I have never built anything like this before but using your plans it was easy!”

Daisy and Bella mixed together- 4×6 Coop
“Everything went together pretty good! I still have to build my windows, right now we’re just using plexy glass on the inside but that will change. I still need to finish the paint and I also just started the chicken run. Thanks!”

Shiloh Coop 10×6
“I looked through the plans and they will be easy to follow. I also liked how sturdy the design is and unlike some of the pre made coops that fall apart in a few years, I can tell this coop will last me a long time.”

“I really appreciated the materials list, it saved me a lot of time! We like how the coop functions and happy with the design. Thanks for these plans!”

“I looked at over 25 coops and yours was by far the best looking! We wanted it to look the same as the Daisy Plan in the photos on your website…same color, trim and everything. We also wanted it close to the house where we could enjoy it and know our neighbors will too. We were amazed at the detail that was put into building the coop and appreciate the time you took to do such a great job!”

“We really like the coop very much! We live outside Manhattan, Kansas (the Little Apple) and have 14 chickens. The pen was also built with the pen plan that came with the coop plan. I found a picture of the back of the coop too; it’s not quite as pretty as the picture of the front (shows wire, etc.) but we like the EGGS. We got that idea from pictures of your coops too! Thanks and have a great day!”
Laurel L. Manhattan, KS
“After many hours searching online for the perfect chicken coop, I found your web site. I loved your coop and showed to my husband. I told him that was the coop for me. After ordering the plans, I showed him that you even had the material list laid out. So all he had to do was get the truck and lets go shopping. This was my birthday, anniversary, mother’s day and Christmas gift in one. Just what a woman has always wanted! It took a total of 98 hours to complete…that was working 4 hours a night after work and 2 full days. We have a horse farm so we were able to build it inside the big barn, out of the weather, and then move it with the bobcat.
The girls have been enjoying the coop condo and today I received my first eggs. What a great surprise! We started the coop on my birthday and got my first eggs on my anniversary. That’s what I call timing! Thank you so much for putting your plans where others could enjoy them. I have been told I have the best looking chicken coop in Fayette County!”
Susan D. Somerville, TN.
“Love the coop and so does everyone who visits our home. They can’t believe hubby and I made it…mostly him! We painted it the same color as our home, yellow with white trim. Since we have just 6 hens, we only needed the one nest box so the other side we closed off…I can store all the daily food/treats. Thanks again and hope you like the photos!”
Michelle D. North Andover, MA
Almost done with the chicken run…just needs poultry wire.
Finished Chicken Run! Since we only have 6 chickens, we blocked the other nest off and use it for storage!”
“We are LOVING our coop! We actually have sat for hours on the front lawn and watched the hens go in and out. It has been such a wonderful project for our family and we couldn’t have chosen a better coop!!! Thank you! Oh, the hens are extremely happy as well…they have the best looking coop in the whole valley! Thanks for being so wonderful to work with; we will be referring your plans again and again!”

Daisy Coop 4×8
“I have attached 2 images of our new Shiloh chicken house…We love it! We poured a foundation for the house so it sets very level. We did not put in the wood floor, rather we have filled it with 12 inches of sand on top of the concrete and are using the “deep litter” method of handling the manure. I also installed a solar operator for the chicken door, it saves a ton of time each day…
In addition, we wired an exterior outlet for a power cord in the winter. Inside, we have a switch to operate a heat lamp and heated waterer. Minor changes but we took the great plans and just tweaked them a bit for our setting. Thank you!”

“Earlier this year I bought your Daisy plans and built me a chicken coop. EVERYONE raves about how much they like the look of the coop and then I show them the functions that it has to make cleaning easier and it just makes them love it even more. We love the coop and that the look of it ADDS to our house and doesn’t look like the traditional eyesore chicken coop. I was given a free window so I thought I would use it instead of buying two new ones.
Thank you for making such a nice looking coop with easy to follow plans, so people like me with just basic woodworking skills, can make something so fabulous looking!”
Sheldon N. Highland, UT
Daisy with tin roof
“I have always wanted chickens but was not sure about what the coop would do to our property value. Other coops I saw were not very attractive but as soon as I saw your coops I thought, “Now this, I can do!” We used left over vinyl from our shed so the coop would match the shed and our house. I am so happy with my coop! It is easy to clean, easy to gather the eggs and so darn cute!”
Michelle B. Mapleton, Ut
From a fellow chicken lover…
“I live in Hooper Utah and whenever I’m surfing for coops, I see yours and think man that is a good looking coop! I finally noticed you had a site. I’ve been building some things for my chickens; (runs and doors.) My goal is to eventually build your coop, it’s so attractive!”
“I still have to frame a window and put it in before winter and finish the roof and trim but here are a few pictures of it right now. I am very pleased with the design. It is a vast improvement from what we had before, and not just for the chickens. Having a nice coop like this makes our lives easier too, especially in the winter. This is the first thing I have ever built… so if I can do it, I think just about anyone can.”
Francisco Q. Missoula, MT
Bella 4×4 (under construction)
“We are really happy with the design! Frankly, everyone that sees the design is very impressed and I feel like this was a real accomplishmnet. That said, your instructions were great and I had very little complications.”
Jeremy N. Los Angeles, CA

“The plan was worth every penny! We followed it pretty much to the letter – we did make the back doors narrower, but other than that it is working out well according to the plan. I have cleaned it out once using a huge barn dust pan and it is very simple to do! All that is left to do is the siding. It will be board and batten to match the siding on the barn. We will send those finished pictures when it is done.”

“Hi, I purchased a set of your plans for your Daisy Chicken Coop. Your coop in my opinion was the best I could find, the plans are perfect as well. I’m a rookie at this, we’re starting a mini farm and the chickens are our first project. That’s some good info you provide on your site. THANKS!
We are also going to build your Shiloh, I just purchased the plans! You have transformed us into “chicken people.” Thanks again for the fine work!”
Craig O. Apple Valley, CA
“The plans were really helpful. We love looking out are back yard and looking at are coop. Friends and family think it is awesome too. We added wheels to be able to move it around our yard with our four-wheeler. Thanks a lot for everything!”

Variation of the Daisy
“What started as a silly idea when we planned to move to the country, became reality. I attached our completed Daisy Coop pictures so you can see how well ours turned out. Everyone who sees it is very impressed (even us). Thank you for these plans! It’s never too late to be what you might have been!”
